Default I feel sorry for the kids who missed the 60's thread

It was humming along, singing a song then WHACK, somebody started playing D.O.A. by Bloodrock.

I stayed out of that one, it had the hand writing on the wall from the get go imho. I think I must have the Open Mic record for initiating threads that get shut down.

I was out all day playing a Farmer's Market, rained on me good, but then it cleared. Cranked out hot country all day. Folks were grooving, had me a 60s moment, with the Brantley Gilbert upgrade.

I came home with Kale, Swiss Chard, Apple Fruit Leather, Goat Cheddar, a gallon of fresh apple cider, sweet peas. I guess things took a turn for the worse, I wanted to reminisce.

Cannot kill the Hippies...they will fire back a salvo of love.

The Rainbow Family gatherings are still happening, you can track them on Facebook. Rainbow gatherings = thousands of people on thousands of acres of land. No booze allowed. No hard drugs allowed. Policed by ex forces and ex bikers. Peaceful place, no harassment of women happens. The tribe is still alive. Just gotta look for it.

Peace...

Almost grew my hair
It was getting kind of short
But I didn't , and I'll tell you why
I felt like letting my freak flag fly

But it was 1988 and I had just gotten out of rehab, and wasn't
going to be smoking any wacky tabacky anymore , ever, if
thinks worked out , which they have . Plus , it's SO much
easier to just shave the dome every few weeks, and nobody cares
if I have long or short hair anyway, so what's the point ?

Those hippie chicks always did have some strange names - must have been quite a party, though...
