Thank you Mary and Dru for your thoughts and prayers. They are helping my wife tremendously as well as the rest of us. Yesterday was spent getting things ready for Wednesday evening and then the service on Thursday. I know it will be hard for my wife both days, but she is strong and will make it. Our daughter has been amazing through all of this.

Willing to admit I have shed a few tears over your loss. It feels like my own loss because we ABCer's are as a family.

Xtra hot here the past week. Summer is here.

Does anyone have any exciting vacation plans this summer?

You know who wanted a dog? Adrianne.

You wanna know who got a dog night before last? Adrianne.

We are now grandparents(?) of a year old Schnauzer named Blue. He is well trained. No messes, no hassle.

Zactly what will makes things interesting, a dog! Is Blue a pup? I'm guessing not if he is already well trained?

Actually in a round about way Blue is a rescue dog. He is from a breeder but he was only "near" perfect. We are told his father won ribbons in the West Minster competition. We are quite happy with him. Although he hasn't had what was considered proper training he must have carefully studied and caught on to what his siblings were taught. He is as near perfect as they come. I asked if he was trained to stay off the furniture and was told he has never been in the same room with furniture. He walked into his cage as soon as it was put together and calmly claimed it as his own.

Blessed to be given another day. It is time to go sort through things and straighten up our garage.

Everyone have a good day......

Can you spare a few minutes to straighten our garage, too?

Doubt if I will have enough time to make it before dark Mary, but I would if I could. Wait, it is already dark here (10:03 pm). I guess one might say I am 95% finished with the garage even though it will probably stay where it is. I cut the grass and then worked in the garden a little. It was in need of it and it will not produce much this year as we just did not have the ample time to keep it up. What we do get will be tasty

Everyone have a good night.

Even though Hurricane Arthur (Tropical Storm when it hit us) is gone it is leaving a major impact. I've had no power at home since early Sat morning and it looks like I won't have it back until late tomorrow night. 1/2 the city still has no power and the news said there are about 2000 fallen trees here. Power on at work though.

For your lack of electric we should send a flashlight to you. Glad you found the computer to be working. We are thinking of you and hoping this is a smooth repair.

Got to admit it is no fun being without power, especially in extreme heat or cold. Prayers for those affected by the outages....

Had internet access at work today (I was on the AGF during my lunch break). I'm back home now and the power is back, yay!
