Perhaps a trip to WV for some homemade applesauce is in order.

Jars before you of that which I wish I could say I had canned. I must give credit again to my daughter and wife.

Krazy hot summer days makes canning a real job sometimes, but your house would have smelled heavenly.

I need to get some made.

May I say that my wife is doing better. Our daughter took us fishing this evening. It was relaxing and fun being outdoors with family and friends.

Outside I will be in a few. It is time to trim some grass around the house. Maybe a motorcycle ride later. It has been a while.

Pleased to have had a nice road trip this morning to a city just over an hour away. Visited a couple of guitar stores.

Quiet evening here. I attended a fund raising auction with our son, daughter-in-law and grand baby while Tim spent his day golfing. This was a much needed break.

Next week is the fireman's festival and I will be booked solid. How many pots of coffee will it take to get me through?

Really great coffee will get you through next week-end, Mary. That and some popcorn.

Storms are on the way Mary. Are you guys prepared for possible power outages and the sort? They are calling for quarter size hail, heavy rains, and high winds around these parts. They even said we could have a tornado or two touch down if all weather systems hook up. I hope it is not as bad as they are calling for.

Nice way to spend your morning Dru. It is always a good day when one can visit guitar stores.

Tom, make sure you're ready in the event of a power outage. Hopefully it'll be mild.

Under the patio roof was the pleasant sound of rain. Nothing drastic to be concerned about in our neck of the woods. How were things at your house, Tom?
