Oliver, I think I might speak for many, but but by no means all of use here on OP, that many of us old curmudgeons here don't even know the heck it works. Of course, I may be just speaking for myself, but I suspect there are many others in the same boat. I don't know how it works and I don't care how it works. That probably sounds "snarky in print, but it's not meant to be. Just sayin' is all.

I'm still trying to figure out why one "tweets" on Twitter instead of "twits" on it.

My daughter used it for a while, but she never explained to me how it works. I guess she figured I was too old Maybe I will check it out later on, but most likely it will be way outdated by then.

Nope. Never could figure out the draw of it. I do like Facebook, though.

@tyeetime

I find Twitter way more useful than Facebook. I don't tweet much but I get more info from it than TV, newspapers, and magazines combined. Great tool.

Twitter is for losers.
— Charles Barkley, During an appearance on the Jay Leno show

I was watching that show, and had a good laugh when he said that.

I've never been to twitter before. I can see it being useful though, especially during emergencies.
