Default tech 21 preamp

ok so i have been wanting to get rid of that piezo quack and warm up my taylor 310 when plugged in..it has a fishman active under the saddle pickup...installed after purchase...i was wondering if running it into a tech 21 Sansamp GT2 preamp would do anything to improve or warmup the sound..i have one, and really can't afford anything else right now...i am going to try it and see what happens..but i was wondering if anybody has had any success or failure with it..i realize its meant for bass and electric, but it does simulate a miced tube amp..so if figure its worth a shot..any advice or tips would be great! thanks!

I think you might have better luck with the Sansamp Acoustic DI instead. Let us know how things worked out...
