Red face Looking for the Song Death Come Creeping

I am trying to learn a song titled “Death Come Creeping” that I want to play with a friend.

My ears aren’t sharp enough to pick up the melody. Fortunately, I do have some music reading ability.

The downside is I can’t find the music notation for this song. Can someone on this forum help me.

If I'm on the wrong section I apologize, but I couldn't find anything that looked close.

Stefan Grossman teaches that in a single-song lesson, available here:

He also teaches it on a DVD here:

I think it is in dropped-D, and its fairly simple.

Assuming you're talking about the old gospel blues version, it is also to be found under the title "Run, Sinner, Run". Sorry I can't post a lead sheet without having to pay for the privelege...

Thanks for the links. I went to the Grossman site to buy the single lesson and got the DVD download instead.

And thanks to the OP for introducing me to Death Come Creeping.

That looks like a good one. I might get that too after I finish a few others of SG's that I just got a couple of weeks ago. I love that instant download software he and Homespun uses.
