One very fun thing about the first snowfall every season is the way dogs react with to it with sheer total joy. They way they jump around in it and then look up at you like "This stuff is AMAZING!!!"

Snowing hard here in Raleigh, North Carolina... Nearly 5 inches so far and still comin' down.

Schools closed for a couple days...
All the milk and eggs are sold out... (wine too thanks to my wife)

My boy used to love it.... RIP Ranger.

Come on down! We have room for about five more of you. Of course, we had about 2 inches of snow this morning, and it is currently 26 F., but this is unusual for us here in Middle Georgia. Supposed to be 70 by Sunday. I have a friend who lives Up North and complains about it every year, as it is a surprise. He says like prefers having all four seasons. He doesn't understand that we can have all four seasons here, too, in one day!

There's about 4" of "old snow" here south of Pittsburgh with temperatures in the single digits and the furnace blowing nonstop. I'm struggling to keep my acoustic guitars hydrated but still desire to play so I'm dabbling in the dark arts and have broken out my Stratocaster. For warmth I put on my wool socks and knit cap and huddle over the tubes on my amp.
