Default WHY?

Why when I open the Acoustic Guitar Forum I never see carbon fiber guitars featured at the top of the opening page? Or have I missed something?

There may be a few exotic material instruments there but it is primarily WoodLand.

Looks like rank discrimination to me. I'll get my lawyer right on it.

In the meantime, SEAN, there should be a woody or two in the picture.

Or maybe KERBIE can correct the omission. You would think that a Rainsong blue Parlor would be a headline instrument. Or one of the white Cargos. Or any one of Emerald's creations. Or a Journey. Any one of the mentioned instruments would add some variation in the visual headlines of the AGF.

Evan, I suspect that it’s up to composite guitar owners to populate the gallery with their guitars the way others, mostly wood owners have over time. Iirc, I only have one pic of me and Bob Taylor that I uploaded long ago after my pilgrimage to El Cajon. As far as what displays, it seems to be entirely random, so if not many composite guitars are uploaded to the gallery, then they can’t be seen. So...no forum omission, or conspiracy.

Of course, both Evan and myself are partially guilty. Neither of us post pictures on this forum......

Hi Evan - interesting question. I assume the selections in the opening page images are random, but you have to have something in the "Members Gallery" to even be in the running. I didn't have any images in that gallery, so being the friendly, upstanding kinda guy I am, I opened a gallery and put 3 images of my guitars in that Gallery. They are currently "pending approval", so we'll see if any of them make it into the opening page gallery. Random, of course.

Oh Mr. K;

Ye of little faith. I'm slow, but I get there. You can quit the sighing and will soon have a sighting.
