Default Speaking of Sor...

I did an analysis or Sor's Op. 6 as well as many of the Sor studies found in the well known Segovia edition. A performance and analytical version are available as a PDF at the end of the article. They are all free to download. Below is the link to my blog for the first study, go back to Blog and scroll down for the rest.

Hope you find it useful.

John

Thank you John for sharing your analysis on this Sor study, including the music TAB/notation to follow.
It's like a free guitar lesson. Very informative!

Andre,

I visited your YouTube channel and really enjoyed your playing...a very relaxed technique and beautiful tone. I'm glad you and Carey found the analysis helpful and appreciate your support!

John

P.S.

All twelve studies from Op. 6 are included. Go to http://www.johnhallguitar.com/blog/ on my website and most are located on page eight and nine. Thanks.

And thanks for the link! Lots of wide ranging topics on your blog, and what looks to be very interesting takes and info on many of the popular works that people who play classical guitar are introduced to. Nice!
