A novice question about Line Level

I just bought a Presonus Audiobox last night. I havnt recieved it yet but I was wondering something. Apparently it doesnt have Line Level. At first I ignored it as I didnt think I had a use for it. But now that I think of it, will this mean I wont be able to record using my Pod XTLive?

I guess I dont fully understand what Line Level is but I want to plug my electric into the Pod then go from there to the instument input on the recording interface. If that wont work, are there other solutions? I see on the back of the POD there is a switch that toggles from Line to Amp. Maybe I need it on "amp" so it doesnt pre-amplify the signal before it gets to the Audiobox?

Maybe someone here with a better understanding of how this works could shed some light on this for me?
