I have seeked this guitar since 2000, and acquired a great one , The Tone out did my expectations. Engelmann Top superior! The instrument with out
any Mods, or Electronics Its as the day in May of 2000 it left El Cajon. Not even a strap button on neck heal, The way all high end Taylor used to come.
If you are looking for a superior keeper that sounds like a best Taylor you could desire Well.... Here it is.
Like new, with original Pink poodle case , fresh and clean everything .
The best Build Taylor did before the NT era.

You're advertising this as a one-piece neck, but there appears to be wings on the headstock?

Good observation, but I've always understood the general attitude on wings to be their inclusion or exclusion doesn't count toward the number of "pieces" that make up the neck in the way that a stacked heel or scarf/finger jointed headstock would.

That price is a steal for a 900 series Taylor.
Fit and finish on 900 series to me seems like what you find in a custom shop.
Doesn't Dave Mathews play a 914?

Yep this is the same build Dave Matthews Beat the Heck out of.
Yes one piece neck for Taylor is no joint at head stock and All had wings till 2000 (NT)
