I use this for radiusing my fretboard (captain obvious, that's me) . I made the cradle to compensate for the depth of the bit. When the routing is done the center of the fretboard is 1/4 inch thick down it's length.

I forgot to mention that I use a vacuum press to hold down the fretboard. I use pennies under it to keep the vacuum from deforming it. The end result is a 12" radius which I like.

Very graceful heel curvature, and the headstock will go nicely with the rosette, too.
