Default Nathan Ashmore parlor guitar

Just thought I'd share my current build. I'm a hobbyist trying to learn a few tricks and techniques.

Big thanks to David Wren for helping me out with bending cocobolo and to Laurent Brondel for his arched plate construction.

Build specs
Parlor guitar
24.75 scale
14th fret
upper bout 8-5/8"
waist 7-7/8"
lower bout 12-3/8"
body length 17-1/2"
back and sides - cocobolo
top - sitka
neck - mahongany/maple 3 piece

and now for some pics

Nice coco!

Did you make those linings yourself?

Yep, Those linings look chunky but it's a real small body.

That coco is a leftover piece from an electric I built. I book-matched it hoping it would be useable. It turned out looking pretty good.

I was inspired by chassen's string inlay work to try it myself. The back plate will have a nice little center line maple and leopard wood inlay.

Very nice. Especially like the rear seam inlay. Simple yet elegant.

It has a nice ring to it. I still need to go over the braces and get more out of it.
Thanks!
