Marcus - we'll take lots of pictures!

Great playing on the clip... and great progress on the Lucky Tree! My Baraniks will be finished sometime after the show, so you'll at least not be missing them at Memphis! I will have the cedar / tree Baranik there for other reasons.

Best,

Phil

Phil! Owner of multiple Tree guitars, I would love your feedback on how you think my Lucky Tree sounds. If it sucks, feel free to shoot me a PM. I admire honesty so how many will you be picking up at Memphis instead? You must be excited!

Thanks for the compliment

If you've never had Corky's you're in for a treat. They serve these big bricks of onion rings that are awesome. This place also has world-famous burgers, but isn't exactly in town.

Matthew,

Corky's is definitely on my radar - it's actually pretty close to the venue.
One and Only BBQ is also apparently nearby, and comes well reviewed.

Thankfully, Bob had the wisdom to make the show long enough that we'll get to try a few different places!

Cheers,
Martin

Default Corkys

For those who bought the 'Graceland Option', it's being catered by Corkys!
....but sadly, no onion ring loafs

Adrianne and I plan to experience the taste of Corky's at Graceland. I've put on a few pounds. What's a few more gonna hurt?

Just echoing what others have said, I hope people take tons of pictures so we could put names to faces (well that may not be a good thing in all cases, but probably mostly) and guitars to luthiers.

I also hope when people test drive these beautiful guitars we have seen come together over the last 6 months or more for the show, that they write their feelings about them, the sounds, the feel, the emotions....

Thanks ahead of time for allowing us unable to come this year, hopefully in 2017, to be able to live vicariously through you.

Save and dry travels to all.

Tom

Default Memphis Guitar Festival

There will be tons of pictures, but I'm not very good at posting pics here, will have to put them on my website...will probably take a few weeks to sort them out with all the luthiers, musicians, workshops, demo concerts, regular concerts, B.B. King's & Graceland, might need a whole new website! I can't believe I leave Tuesday morning for the festival! So you probably won't see anymore posts from me.

Yes, thank you that sounds great. I go to your website all of the time anyway looking to see what goodies you have laying around!

I hope you are not sooooooo busy at the show with issues, that you will have time to enjoy the fruits of your labor! It is going to be fantastic. If anyone had any doubts about that, they should disappear when one just looks at how many of these one of a kind luthiers have put herculean effort into producing instruments beyond words to display at the show. Congrats to you. To me, this also shows how much respect they have for you and your efforts as well.

Tom, so you're the one lurking To be clear, the pics will eventually be on my Memphis website (www.MemphisGuitarFest.com), not my guitar website (www.YourPerfectGuitar.com). I'm really excited, if I don't get to see all the guitars, I will a whole bunch of special guitars that I've ordered.
Bob
