Luthiers/Techs & CF
The thread about setups and the N2 neck made me wonder, what experiences have y'all had when taking your CF guitar to a luthier or tech for setup work? Are they familiar with the instruments? Any reluctance to work on them? Any "oh, CF, cool!" eagerness to work on them?

I have taken my CF to one of the best shops in Akron and they loved to see it. They were coming out of the back room to play it. Never needed work done however. However setup work would be no different on a Rainsong vs my Wood guitars. I am usually going in with bigger wood issues.

I took my Emerald to a local G.C. to have the bridge sanded, with similar responses as Doubleneck had...People were coming out of the woodwork to both play and marvel at it!!!
I encourage everyone to take their Carbon Fiber to any guitar shop/ Luither or anywhere that guitar afficinatos meet...the look on faces is priceless!!!
