Neck profile Blackbird L13 vs Rainsong P12
I got the chance to play a Rainsong P12 with the NS neck. I liked the guitar but found the neck kind of chunky. It is possible to order a P14 with the slimmer N1 neck but there is quite the upcharge for this. There is a used, original version, BB L13 available that interested me, but too far away for me to try. I would have to buy without trying it first. How does the BB L13 neck compare? Thinner? Thicker? About the same?

Here is the information I got for non-pickup version: " The N1 necks are only available in the Classic, Concert and Black Ice series. They are custom order with 6 week build time and the pricing is as follows: Classic Series PA1100N1 has a US retail of $2932. Concert Series CO-PA1100N1 has a US retail of $3132. Black Ice Series BI-PA1100N1 has a US retail of $3266. " By comparisons regular parlour has a US retail of $2666 but I think that includes the electronics. Of course actual selling price is different but this give you an idea of costs. I think the Concert Series, in construction, is closest to the regular parlour. |
