Default neck joint for 1964 Gibson LGO?

Hello all,

Anyone know what type of neck/body joint a 1964 Gibson LGO acoustic would have? Is it a dovetail?

Thanks!

This is cool to know. I have a 1964 LG0 as well. And per chance, thickey, were you born in 1983 or is that just a random number? It'd be double weird if we also shared our age.

Thanks again!
Ha, no, it's just a random number. Would be pretty cool though. Has your LGO ever needed any structural work?

I believe the bridge was re-glued just before I bought it about 12 years ago. ($200! a steal!) But it sounds better than almost every guitar I've played and the action is low like a metal guitar! It's great! I get comments on how nice it sounds a lot. I just ordered some bone bridge pins from Bob Colosi to make it sounds even better.

Nice! That is an amazing deal. Yeah, I had ordered a saddle from Bob Colosi in the past, he really does top notch stuff. If this is your first order from him, you won't be disappointed.
If you ever have any free time on your hands, I would greatly appreciate it if you could let me know the measurements of:
The height of the bridge from the body
The height of the saddle from the top of the bridge
And the height of the strings from the body right in front of the bridge

I would greatly appreciate it as it would give a good idea of what to shoot for.
Thanks again!
