Default 'The Way Home' - Stuart Ryan

Just thought I would do a quick video before going to Spain next week for a number of weeks. All my usual squeaks and creaks are there. On the face of it this tune sounds relatively straightforward but there are a number of long stretches that for me gave me trouble and I could not get it to sound right either. Never mind, I had bit of fun putting the narrative in the credits with my 'low tech' Windows Movie Maker software

https://youtu.be/3GU0erXYKc4

Hope it's ok.

That was good Phil. I looked into Stuart Ryan's website and downloaded that free mp3 and tab. Excellent, thanks. A change of pace would be good for me.

Very beautiful, Phil!! I liked your phrasing.....perhaps even better than the original!! Some of the pauses and phrasing reminds me of Michael Watts approach to his songs.
Have fun in Spain and we'll wait for more songs upon your return!
Fred
p.s. By the way,.....it's more than o.k.!

First off, I hope you're having a great time in my parents land. The musical, as usual, is much more than ok, it's great.

Nice job, Phil. If you had trouble it wasn't evident.

Have a good time in Spain.

Well done, Phil.

You get a beautiful guitar tone without artifacts. I can only imagine how great you sound in person.

I really like your bookshelf, too.

Safe travels.
