Default Electric Carbon Fiber Guitars?

Hello gang...A few weeks ago, JR posted some stunning pics of Archtop CF guitars that lead me to a GAS-Attack...LOL...

Even though I consider myself an acoustic guy, this led me on a quest to find other CF electrics...

On the "Guitar Affair" website I found a XOX Handle guitar that sparked my interest, and wondered if any others here would post pictures or links to other CF electrics? ( Sorry but I am too computer illiterate to post this link myself...)

Thanks for being the Greatest group of AGF members on the internet!!!

Default Cool Tele's

When I first started back up building,
(built a handfull of body's for bolt-on necks and one double-neck neck-thru
in the 80's).
Considered doing a Tele. That was my first "good"guitar I owned in the 70's.

Googled "carbon guitar" and the first thing that popped up was a full carbon Tele/Resonator build on TDPRI.

Next "type" I always wanted was the 335, or Gretch, or Byrdland, semi-full hollow.
Much better use of composite properties.

Electrics with carbon tops are cool and cost a LOT less than some of the exotic top plates you can buy.

These were painted "Viper Blue" (backs) but can't find the finished pics?

Really need to reorganize my photobucket. Had to dig through 20 pages to find those pics.

Trading a guy a bike for a new website. Maybe have to go "live" after that.
There is a somewhat close well-known guitar shop that is interested in carrying my stuff.

Also the "sponser" fee is very affordable here!

Electrics can be made lighter, (think Parker Fly) at 5 (?) lbs.
Also can have very resonant bodies.
Have always chosen my electric guitars buy playing un-plugged.
Had a PRS Custom 24 "10" top that was noticeably louder and nicer sounding than all the other (5-6) Custom 24's in the shop.

Probably doesn't count for much with high gain or distorted. But through a 180 watt Twin Reverb, semi clean. 'think I can tell?

Nugent got some pretty amazing tones through 3 Twins daisy-chained, a Byrdland, (full hollow) and NO pedals at all. When I saw him in 78'.

He also jumped off the top of the stacks and landed doing the splits!!!

You asked for links to other CF electrics.

Here's one about Composite Acoustics Blade electric guitar:
http://www.acousticguitarforum.com/f...ighlight=Blade

A short-lived production run, but IMHO an outstanding CF guitar.

I still kick myself for not buying one of the CA Blades when they were on pre-order status!

I always liked the Rinsing Jazz guitars the most, but that 335 type above looks great, as do the Tele's sold by Rebel Guitars.

Now I'd love to see a CF Strat!

Or something clean and simple and light, like a Danelctro U2, with a lipstick pickup.
