Absolutely gorgeous work. I played some of his guitars at Memphis, and the sound was as beautiful as his designs and craftsmanship. I look forward to seeing more photos and hearing a recording when it is finished.

Thank you for the kind reply I have played several Somogyi-like guitar and Somogyi guitar itself as well and Leo's work is the one that sounds the most 'Somogyisque,' and at the same time Leo's sound in

Yea, definitely!! You must go to the Woodstock Invitational Luthiers Showcase holding this year then. Lots of apprentices of Mr.Somogyi, including Leo himself, is gonna have a special showcase with Mr.Somogyi's works. I cannot wait to see that

Beautiful work; can't wait to hear some sound clips of this one.

Crazy to believe these guys are apprentices, although I guess Oakland is far more of a "finishing school".

Cheers,
Steve

Here are few more photos of fingerboard inlay.

This is pleasantly plain and simple inlay

Fretting..

Next time, I might try to install Gold evo fret. it seems to fit in this kind of design not only aesthetically, also functionally.

The photos do not show degree of the tilted frets well, it's a slightly fan-fret :O

I would say it's a buen dia when photos of this guitar are posted. This is some of the most amazing detail work I've ever seen.
