Martin Re-Imagined 2018 00-18 Question
I was wondering if Martin made any changes to this model for 2018? I didn't see it listed on the Martin website on their "re-imagined" landing page, so I'm assuming they did not, but wanted to confirm here.
Thanks, Dave

I own a 2016 model and it's one of the first models (00-18) they "re-imagined". It replaced the 00-18v model i believe. Great guitar, just like the 000-18 they re-imagined a few years back.

Yes, I know they made some changes over the past couple of years....I'm just not sure if they made any additional changes for 2018 to the 000-18.

No changes for 2018. Both models were good to go. The 00-18 is only slightly quieter than the 000 everything else being equal. So if you prefer smaller bodied guitars the 00 is a great way to go. One of Martin's under the radar models.

I played them both and while the 00 is slightly quieter, the tone is pretty different to me. The 00 had a more boxy and focused tone. Not for me. The 000 sounded larger and fuller.

The 2018 00-18 has 5/32 string spacing at the bridge. Not too long ago, I believe it was 3/16, but I'm not sure exactly when that change was made.
