My low e string isn't producing sound on my Godin Multiac. What could be the problem?

Do you have a Hex (6 channel midi) one, or a mono piezo?

I assume you have the Hex version and the low E piezo died (either a short or an open circuit). You definitely want to contact Godin. I found them pretty helpful in the past.

I just tested it on the regular 1/4 jack output..is it still the piezo?

Even if you guitar is one of the models with a magnetic pickup in addition to the hex piezo, losing just a single string is a failure mode that only the hex piezo could do. I've repaired the electronics in a few Godins over the years and they seem to be generally soldered together rather than using connectors (like a Taylor T5 for example). Likely the entire saddle pickup needs to be replaced by a tech with soldering equipment. A failure in the preamp/midi board could also be the root cause but since there are no mechanical aspects to its function that seems much less likely (and will be much more expensive, the last preamp board quoted to me by Godin was for an A6 Ultra and they wanted over $300 -- so I repaired the old one).
