I do not believe it has a bodyrez but it does have some amp modeling and the guitar direct out.

Thanks Duffy! Will have a look.

Now I'm second guessing the Bodyrez .... Since I can prob get $100 for my Harmony Gxt and paid $85 for the Bodyrez (can be returned and cost me $5).

Figure for about $60-70 bucks more I can have the 'all in one' - Play Acoustic?

So my question is how easy is the Play Acoustic to dial in?........Frankly I love the simplicity of the Harmony. It really is just plug and play and adjust the volume knobs. Plus the HGXT has the 'guitar through' which is neat.

Lastly on the plus side.. The Play Acoustic has more effects, reverb, chorus etc...

Hmmm....
It's also worth noting that the BodyRez feature in the Play Acoustic is much more comprehensive than the stomp box version - it gives you many more options to shape the sound exactly as you want it - plus, there are multiple notch filters etc. etc.

Thanks Andy for your input on the Bodyrez feature..
I think the Play Acoustic is worth giving a try.

It sound like it's an "all in one " solution that covers a lot of ground.

Hopefully I can find a used one here on AGF or elsewhere.

As an acoustic player that's never done much more than plug into an amp, I bought the Play Acoustic some time ago and have been really intimidated by it. But, the past two nights I've got it out and just played around with it, and it's actually started to seem less intimidating! I'm going to continue to work with it until I really feel I've got it figured out, then decide if I'm happy with it or not. I have to say, some of the vocal effects are pretty cool, but I think I need to get some feedback from a listener.

Most people on this forum are keen to avoid feedback...

Seriously, I use a Play Acoustic and it is really not that intimidating at all - just dive in there and you will soon be tweaking away to your heart's content.

Some excellent tuition videos as well on TC Helicon's Youtube channel.

Ha! But I know you know what I meant. Even though sound is coming through the amp, I really don't feel that I hear myself as accurately/objectively as someone else would.

I bought the Play Acoustic a while ago but like you I found the footprint too big for my board and I didn't like only having the xlr outs. So I bought the Harmony Singer to replace my GXT---simpler, an even smaller footprint than the GXT and I think the harmonies sound better.
