Default Hooking up my Live 3

I have a mic and cable and it's connected to my Fishman amp. I'm getting a Live 3. Do I just need another mic cable to hook it all up? Do I have it right? The mic plugs into the Live 3, the Live3 connects to the Fishman with another mic cable? I can't tell what's male and what's female and where they go.

Your mic plugs into the Live 3 with a mic cable, then you need a second mic cable to plug the Live 3 into the Fishman. Easy peasy.

Thanks a lot. I didn't want to order it and not be able to use because I got the wrong cable.

Default Got my live 3 today

I read several posts from folks who dont care for these units but I have to say I love using it. My wife even stopped and listened when I was doing Vince Gill's When I Called Your Name. Even went so far as to say it was good. I guess all that matters is that I'm having fun playin and singing again. And my Martin HD 28 custom is great, thanks Scott Ptak, I'm loving it!

I take my mic into my VL3 with a standard XLR mic cable and my guitar into the guitar in with a standard instrument cable. After that another standard XLR cable takes it all into the PA. Doesn't get much easier than that.
