Guild F-30 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJARCV6z-2U
Or, if you want real warmth in a small guitar the Guild M-120 is a fine choice-all solid mahogany with a nice TKL case included. Considerably cheaper than the US models too.

Since cost really isn't an issue I suggest you get to a shop or shops with a large inventory (road trip if necessary, I love Artisan) and play, play, play. That being said, I've got a Martin 00-16DBR that is a great strummer due to the deep body so I'm intrigued with the selection of deep body Martins at Wildwood. (I went to the deep body smaller guitar because my dred hurts my shoulder too much so I rarely play it now,)

Have fun on your new guitar journey then let us know what you decide and of course post pictures once you have your new guitar.

I'm intrigued with the deep body Martin's at Wildwood too Joan. They have some very nice offerings at the moment.

I'd certainly recommend the Froggy Bottom M model. I just uploaded a vid about Rosewood and Mahogany where I used 2 of these great guitars.

Cool Looking for a small-body guitar with warmth and woody depth.

I have several 000-12 fret guitars that give me really good sound. My Martin 000C Nylon cutaway hybrid is my "go-to" guitar and I have 2 Recording Kings ROS-06 FE3, one of which is steel-string and the other I converted to play nylon strings for new players. The extra length of the body make a BIG difference in tone and they are very comfortable to play, sitting or standing.

In the US, the European Sigmas are branded as "Kindred". The US Sigma brand was bought by Alvarez and is not the same.

The Kindreds are only lightly distributed in the US so far, it looks like, and some the websites have nothing on them. There's a dealer list here that might be current or might be out of date: http://goldenarktrading.com/. Elderly has them. Nothing in MA right now.

How about a D-35 but in an OM size? It's a canon in a small package. Check out the one's that Jon Garon at My favorite Guitars offers. If you're not familiar with MFG, Jon (owner) regularly has Martin do small custom shop runs made to his specs. One of these is the OM-35. Martin stopped producing this little gem years ago. Jon realized how special these guitars were so he periodically has Martin make a few for him in the custom shop- to the specs of the original OM-35. You can see and hear them at MFG's site:

http://www.myfavoriteguitars.com/sea...=search&page=1

I own one of these, and I can vouch for it's "canon like" presence. My friend has an HD-28V, and my OM-35 has no problem keeping up with him. My friends HD is awesome, but we both think my OM sounds better!

I'd say a 00, 12frets to the body, mahogany.

Something by Martin or one of the Santa Cruz 1929 models.

Since you're used to dreads, a 000-18 GE or 00028 would fit the bill nicely. Still big enough, but small enough as well. You'd probably find smaller ones to drastic a change.
