Default Some Blind Blake style - Toby Walker Live in England

This one was actually recorded during one of the tours I did in England... although for the life of me I can't remember which one.

I do remember it was at a place called 'The Bottleneck Blues Club' in Rochester, Kent which was the first gig of a 14 date tour. I was supposed to do this recording on the 15th date of the tour at a studio that Jeff Beck uses all the time but the studio lost their lease... so there you go.

The songs lyrics are by my friend Billy C. Wirtz who is the craziest piano player and songwriter on the planet. I thought it would be fun to apply them to some of Blind Blake's style guitar playing. It's pretty much all improvised... I'm wingin' it.

I think I was playing my '90 Martin 000-16 on this gig.

Toby,

When I clicked on your link, I got:

"Oh, no!
Sorry! We can't find that sound.
Did you try to access a private sound, but were not logged in?
Maybe the sound has been removed."

This may account for a lack of comments so far. I'd sure love to hear it.

I'm not sure what the problem was but the link in the post works just fine.

Thank you for sharing that, Toby.

I've already shared it with my guitar playing friends that don't habit AGF.

George

P.S. I can't see the liner notes to appreciate what guitar you're playing on that track.
