Truly a GORGEOUS guitar!!!
My first electric guitar was a big orange Gretsch... even though I was raised in Orange County and lived in Fullerton in the 60's, and all the early electrics I played were Fenders, I ended up never owning one... I found this Gretsch in 1969, at the Orange Drive-In swap meet, saw it from 40 yards away! I was just a kid (just 18) and it never occurred to me that the guitar might be stolen, even when I bought it for $35!!! Without a case, of course... loved that guitar! It felt great, looked great and played wonderfully... and it was SO BIG and SO ORANGE!!! Seeing your new guitar has me remembering that old Gretsch of mine, so thanks for the "memory jolt"! Enjoy that beauty!!!

Sweet. I'm like that. If something used pops up that I like at a reasonable price I'll consider it. Enjoy!

What a beauty! You know, I used to own a USA-built Guild Starfire that looked almost just like that. Enjoy that English in good health!

My first "good" guitar was a '64 burst Double Annie (still have it, BTW) and my grandparents lived three blocks from the old 60 Broadway (Brooklyn) plant, so I'm a hardcore Gretsch guy from long before George Harrison made them cool; I really like the way he worked a 16-fret neck into the design, without straying from the 6120 aesthetic - I always found the 14-fret neck/22-fret fingerboard somewhat of an incongruity...
Use it well, often, and LOUD...
