So I'm a day late... it came yesterday SORRY...

Not a big deal really got it on sale for what I think was a really good deal this Yamaha full scale. Let her warm up to the house temp and play a bit with it last night and going from an acoustic to this bass is a big jump to be sure but didn't take long to find a zone I was feeling at home in. I'm sure more will come as I work on it. So far I really like it and for the buck and a half I spent on it couldn't go wrong!

Yamaha RBX170Y Electric Bass Red Metallic

I got it mainly for doing backing tracks on my recording in my home studio so just my 60 watt pa in my basement and the audio interface to the computer at home. If it makes it to church it will go though the house PA as well there. I have little to no experience on a bass.

Cool. Bass lets you have a whole different kind of fun with what you do musically. Good luck!

Its great but not had that much play time due to dealing with rebound headaches that was diagnosed a few weeks ago. Nasty treatment that withholds pain relievers from someone suffering from migraine headaches in the first place but that is exactly the course of treatment.

It's working from the looks of it and I"m hopefully about part way through this tunnel and soon can start really having fun with the bass. But did manage to test it out and it works great. Thanks!
