Default NGD! + Pics

Could not resist buying this one. Its something a bit different to mahogany/rosewood back and sides. This is my Faith Saturn Dreadnaught cutaway. I love the figuring on the back and it sounds and plays a delight! The Trembesi is sourced from near to the workshop where the guitars are built in Indionesia. Sorry about the quality of the pics they are taken on a mobile phone. Specs are:

Solid Engleman Spruce top
Solid Trembesi back and sides
Solid Mahohany Neck
Macassar Ebony Bridge/Fingerboard/Headplate/Binding/Bridge Pins
Grover Tuners with Ebony buttons
Shadow preamp and NanoFlex UST

Hi there and many congrats!

I played the trembesi version of the Neptune once and thought it sounded very nice. Very woody and genuinely different from the more traditional woods.
Lovely. Enjoy!!!!

Congrats on the sweet guitar! I always wanted one of these, if only it has a wider nut.

Thanks! They do a cedar over mahogany dread and parlour with a 45mm nut. They sound great and well worth checking out!

Very nice, congratulations! The back and sides look a little koa - ish. Does it sound similar or does it have its own unique sound?

Never heard of trembesi. It sure is beautiful. A very attractive guitar, indeed. Construction quality looks excellent.

I would say it's somewhere between mahogany and rosewood. Has the highs and low end but not quite as much as rosewood. That's the best way I can describe it. It's a really nice balanced sound
