I think you will find that going back to the 1930s more non-blues musicians played L-00s than blues pickers. The whole L-00 blues thing seems to be as much a product of Gibson's marketing team as anything else.

Was going to say a C10 is L00 sized. Someone has already mentioned Rodney Crowell, who used his C10 all the time till an old L00 partially supplanted it. Dar Williams and Armand Hirsch also both use C10s and their music could never be called blues.
