Exclamation Waverly tuners on Taylor guitars

I have a 422k that had the "Roger Rabbit" designed Grover tuners, (overstuffed) #3 was stiff, I went with Waverly open tuners and could not be more pleased, worth the cost, needed the adapter bushings to fill up the 3/8 peg holes. Snakewood knobs, in gold really a fine match. Well I couldn't stop and put a set of Ebony on nickel on my Baby Taylor, that was an education, on the 3/4 scale guitars, 3/4 scale head stock does not have room for the Waverly's end to end, I had to cut off both ends of both middle tuners, leaving 1/2 of the screw hole on both ends. Looks fantastic, but overkill on the Baby Taylor. Both needed bushings, peg holes were not very uniform, super glued 2 in place while getting everything square and straight.

When the original Grovers began to slip on my 812c and the 810-WMB, they both got gold Waverly butterbeans.

I like the lighter machines and what it does for the tone. They are also incredibly accurate and smooth.
