I'm pretty busy with music projects myself, so I'm not going to offer. But it may help you find some interested folks if you gave some more background to your request.

Yup! For instance:

- the kind of music you want to make.

- what audience you want to make it for.

- songwriters you love.

- your songwriting strengths and weaknesses.

- your experience and present situation.

Good advice. I have actually cut myself off from collaboration for now. I've got 4 complete songs without lyrics, two I think are as good as anything I've done. I've just got another one about done and still no lyrics. And the last one I put lyrics to is a way better tune than are the lyrics. I can do this, I've done it before. I've got friends with scads of lyrics in notebooks and even tan envelopes full of scraps of paper with lines scribbled on them. But, I am going to wait it out. I believe it's the only way to get past it, though I've never been dry for so long.

A while back forum member Jim McCarthy (runamuck) added synthesized instruments to my earlier guitar recording of "Suicide is Painless". Certainly
filled out the sound and added depth.

I co-wrote a song in high school in 1970 as a senior project. It was fun, and we bagged our A's, but since then I've just done it myself. For us Steppenwolfs, it's lot easier than working with someone.

But it's not a bad idea. Aly, can you tell us more about your project and needs?
