Plain ol' D'add Ej17s. You could add a .017" on the 1st if you wish.

Pearse makes a Weissenborn set for open D tuning:

This is what was recommended to me by the Weissenborn player that I bought my Weissenborn from, and this is what I've been using.

Almost any phosphor bronze guitar strings will work well for Weissenborn. The real question is which gauges work the best. If you're playing a contemporary Weissenborn I like the Asher Acoustic Hawaiian strings which are gauges .014-.017-.028-.036-.046-.058 - although I think just about any phosphor bronze strings with those gauges would sound pretty similar.

For my vintage Weissenborn I use a set of light gauge acoustic guitar strings and replace the 1st and 2nd strings with a .014 and .017. I don't want to risk damaging the guitar by using thicker gauge strings, even though I'm sure I would prefer the playability from having greater string tension

On my Pogreba weissenborns (standard) I use the Pearse strings (3160L) w/the .060 on the low end. I might also add a slightly heavier gauge on top.
for the Baritone, I use the Pearse with a .062 on the low end.
