These capos look like they were built with common sense. I think I've not considered them if only because they look like medieval torture devices.

Just bought me a G7th P2 the other day. Used it last night on a gig for the first time and I liked it better than I thought I would.

Thanks for sharing.

Congrats. These are my favorite capos. Never had an issue with them.

I also have a Planet Waves NS capo which I like, but I can't park it above the nut like the Paige.

Enjoy!

I used it on one tune so far. In a little while I'm going to test it out at the 9th. In my signature is a recording with it, 3rd fret. I like it. Very clear sounding. At $20, picking up an extra one isn't a bad idea either. I like redundancy.

I use a Paige Capo for my stage guitar.
It's always there when I need it and with the adjustable tension. it doesn't pull the guitar out of tune like some other capos do.

I play with the capo at the fifth fret on several songs and the Paige makes my guitar sound great. No string tuning adjustments needed.
Just capo up and play.

My two favorite capos are Paige and the newer roller Shubb.

Enjoy the Paige, Barry. I have one myself. Nice capo.

These are excellent capos. I have a couple and love them. Almost invisible on the guitar.

I don't know, I don't have a Shubb, but I was looking at their fine tune version. This capo has a very low profile.

Do you have to screw it tight every time you put it on?

Yes, you push it up to get it close and then screw it tight.

I was looking at the Shubb fine tune, but this one was $55 cheaper.

As obvious as it should be but isn't, the Paige is built with the same basic design as the McKinney/Elliott, costing 5 times the amount of the Paige.

The reason the McKinney/Elliott is designed that way is that straight pressure, not pinched, or offset pressure like many capo's, allows your guitar to stay in tune much better.

I have had many capos and the Paige is by far the better capo in my opinion. It stays on my guitar when performing and there's no looking around for it, which at my age is a big plus.

It's very good. I really like the low profile.

Thumbs up

You can never have too many capos - I think I will pick one of these up and give it a try.

Can you guys show a picture of where you keep the capo on the guitar when not in use?

Thanks
madhat.
