Futile Song Search
I've been all over the internet in a vain attempt to find the chord progression or at least the lyrics for the Alan Whitney song "Weakness", performed wonderfully
by him and covered beautifully by Claudia Russell. It's the first time I've been unable to find anything about a song other than the YouTube performances. Any help out there? Thanks |

Can you link to the YouTube version of the song? I couldn’t even find that.

Not 100% sure about the key, but sounds like G G/B C G G7 D G over and over.

I zeroed in on the Claudia Russell live version FWIW. And I chorded without a guitar in hand. I think the key variables are the switch from I to dom I7 and the IV to -iv. Those are probably the ear twisters. Otherwise straight diatonic in the key of choice.
