Most any delay pedal has a level control that you can adjust to just a "slight" delay sound. Yes the Boss DD-3 can do it. All delays sound good with acoustic guitars. Analog delays work great too.

Electro Harmonix Canyon Delay will give you a looper and a variety of delays. My new favorite delay. Not a bad price at $139. I like it better than my analog MXR Carbon Copy.

TC Electronic Flashback Delay is another good choice.

MXR Carbon Copy has been my delay for years...warm phat analog tone and has a nice modulation feature I like too!

I've been using the T-Rex Replay pedal---I love its tiny size! Yes, many pedals to choose from!
