Default Taylor ES2 with SoundHole pickup??

A question for the more technical folks...

Is it possible to add a a soundhole pickup to the Taylor expression system (ES2)?

I'm assuming the ring circuit on the output jack socket isn't being utilised, so would it be possible to internally connect a mag pickup to this ring circuit and then use a stereo (TRS) cable to send both signals to a mixer? (i.e. the ES2 signal on the tip and the mag pickup on the ring?)

Thanks.

I wouldn’t assume that the new system has a stereo-ready output jack. I had my Taylor upgraded to the ES2 and am pretty sure that the output section was also replaced. I may be wrong in which case it may be worth a try (I’m not a big fan of sound hole mags so wouldn’t try it myself...).
