New USB headphone DAC and amp for PC and Mac
Apogee has just announced and shown at NAMM a new device to plug into a USB port ( like a laptop ) to be able to run even high end headphones for monitoring. It will work on both Mac and PC ( a first for Apogee ) price to be announced. Available spring 2015

interesting. i love my apogee ensemble but i'm not sure this would be a product i even need. amazing that people want to hear music in a high quality mode once again. yes, i do listen to mp3 on my little 2gb ipod as i take my walk in the morning but the noise drives me crazy and i'd prefer at least wav files.
