Default A Day Last Summer - new original

Here is my latest 'finished' composition which is a simple piece influenced by wistful and nostalgic thoughts of warm summers, people and places in my past. It was a sunny day here yesterday for a change so I felt in the mood to try to record this which has been around for a few months.

Wonderful, as always! Your own compositions are my favorite of what you post, & that Lamorna sounds perfect for your style! Keep 'em coming!

A melody line is the thing I most prefer to listen to and you had a very nice one in this piece plus the harmony.

A beautiful "bouquet" of reflective, soulful sounds, Phil. So enjoyed this one......and I can really visualize the title in what you've played so beautifully!
Congrats on another great one!!

All the best!

Gorgeous tone! This sounds like a piece that could be used in a film to capture a reflective moment. Very Nice : )

Wonderful warm sound from you and that guitar, Phil! And what a lovely composition! Perfect for your subject of a warm summer day. Great job on this recording and great job on your playing -- so smooth.

I liked that last harmonic!
