Congratulations on your retirement Todd.

A new chapter opens and it will likely bring joy at the freedom and time that you will have to do the things that you enjoy or perhaps explore a new hobby or two.

Is it just me or did you have a passing resemblance to an older Rick Nelson?

I've heard a lot of different dudes over the years but this is the first time I'd heard his name - in that picture I would agree!

Here are my senior pics from the same time roughly....

Just as busy as I ever was when I was still working (quit that nonsense 7 years ago). The difference now is doing things I want to do for people I want to do them for.

Thanks guys - I'm sliding into this rather well.

First two weekdays of my new life were spent on the golf course.....in February....in Michigan. Yesterday in shorts!

I'm pretty sure my blood pressure has lowered already

I am happy for you, Todd. I am probably 5 years and 3 months out. As much I love my job, I could walk away tomorrow with zero hesitation. All I want to do is ride bikes, play guitar, fly fish, read, and hang out with my family.

Congratulations on your retirement. I retired in 2019 and have led a relaxed existence ever since.

Congratulations! I retired from higher ed in 2018. I love it! I rebuilt my studio and purchased a few instruments. I was a Windows, Linux, SQL programmer for 40 years. I don't miss it. Now that I've retired, I haven't written a single byte of code!

Thanks guys - it took all of about 10 seconds for me to adjust to this.

The last 6 months or so I hadn't been taking on new clients and as a result had been working about 60% as much as I had been, so it was a gradual thing.

Oddly enough, this first 10 day or so I haven't really played much music - been going hard at the exercise thing - but I will certainly get back at the tunes too.

Loving the peace and quiet for sure!

Congratulations, Todd! I hope you enjoy this next chapter. You have given so much to those around you and now, time for you to refill the tank and enjoy the ride.
