High E string in low output level while plugged
I don't use my Hummingbird plugged pretty much, but in a recently gigging I found the high E string is in pretty low volume while plugged. The other 5 strings worked just fine.
I removed the saddle and checked the piezo, seems nothing wrong with it. Then I remembered about half year ago I took the guitar to a local luthier and he did some setup to it, including having the saddle sanded down. Could this be the reason? The pickup is the original L.R.Baggs Element, by the way.

I would guess the saddle is not making good contact with the pickup - you could try loosening up the strings, and moving the saddle a little bit.

I had a similar issue with the UST in my Anthem system and emailed Baggs technical support. They recommended making sure the saddle was level and also trying a small piece of electrical tape on the bottom of the saddle at the string in question to improve contact. I tried the taped first and it worked but a tiny bit of care saddle sanding resolved the issue so I didn't reapply the tape. Hope this helps.

Thanks guys, I'll take a check at the saddle. Maybe I'll need to make a new saddle for it.
