Default JUST AN INCREDIBLE GUITAR

I have been searching the globe for my dream guitar. I then drove 5 hours from my home to a shop in the UK called Coda Music and found a Cocobolo/Redwood F50 Lowden hanging on a wall and the moment i played it i knew. And 3 hours later when the very kind shop owners tea was probably inside the dog, I drove home to think about it.....i know, i know....it was the worst journey of life, 5 hours is just enough time rustle up high levels of regret and longing.

I decided when i got home that this long distance relationship wasn't going to work and so with a crazy sense of abandon and no sense of cash levels I put a deposit on it first thing in the morning. My mind then set to work on finding the cash.

You only need one kidney, right!

Finally it's here, sat in its box right now in my front room, i'm almost overwhelmed to open it....but here goes

I took the guitar to my photographic studio to get some good shots and video the unboxing.

I quickly wrote a little piece of music on this guitar and recorded it for the video, please enjoy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1m71SJ9O7Ys

Images of the guitar are here: http://www.mspstudio.co.uk/lowden/

Yowzerz!! Congrats on the guitar and wonderful playing!

Have you sent this to Lowden? I wouldn't be surprised if they might want it for marketing purposes.....

Have fun

madhat.

Hi Mad Hat, I did send the still images over and they used one on their social media thats all. I'd love to do more work like this of course, combining the day job with my passion for guitar.

That one is lovely. Bought my D32 from a shop in Canada, unseen and unplayed. It was exactly as expected on arrival. Harder to find at a good price over here so I called the minute I saw it, one of the best moves I ever made.

Beautiful guitar! Beautiful pics! Tasteful video! Amazing sound and great composition! Congrats on your NGD, and I hope your remaining kidney lasts a long time.

Absolutely beautiful-looking and sounding guitar - congratulations!!! Really nice playing there too. I'm a fan of Lowdens, having inherited an S23 from my father - it's nothing like as spectacular as yours though.

Coda is a great store, always worth a visit... and you wouldn't be the first one to leave there subject to the same kind of temptation!

Superb photos too... you might be getting a call from me!

Cheers,
David
