RARE Gibson J-45 Custom Rosewood Antique Natural 2012 L.R. Baggs Element - GORGEOUS!
Up for sale is my 2012 Gibson Custom J-45 Acoustic-Electric Guitar in the RARE and hard to find Antique Natural Finish. Comes with hardshell black case with blue interior. SOLD!
Asking $2400.00 fully insured and shipped via either FedEx or UPS. At this point I've dropped the price a number of times and I'm relatively firm on it. It will be packed extremely well, I ship guitars regularly and have been for about 17 years. This guitar is up on multiple sites as well as Reverb. This may be my first post here, but I have great feedback on all sites I sell on. Check out my TGP & Reverb profiles for more info: https://www.thegearpage.net/board/in...quitas.121505/ https://reverb.com/shop/andrews-music-exchange This guitar is one of the most eye poppingly beautiful J-45's I've ever laid eyes on. The pictures do not do the top/back/sides justice! Even better, it sounds like a choir of angels. Seriously gorgeous tone. I am not kidding. This is one of the most resonant, clear and harmonious acoustics I have ever played. The overtones this thing puts out are amazing. Powerful bottom end and clear, singing, top end. It will knock your socks off. Why am I selling it then? I have bills to pay and other endeavors that I have got into. I just don't play it much anymore. I am the original owner and I bought it new from a dealer. It is in near mint condition and I have kept it humidified with distilled water regularly and it will be humidified during shipment. It has one minuscule flaw. On the headstock there is a small pin sized ding. You can see it on the top right corner of the headstock picture I took. That's all I could see after carefully scouring the guitar. In addition, I had a strap button professionally installed. You can also see this in one of the pictures. I took extremely good care of this guitar and did not play it all that much. It mostly sat in it's case. It was professionally set up and intonated. Details: Without question, the J-45 is one of the most beloved acoustic guitars in the history of modern music, and the icon of Gibson's round-shoulder dreadnought acoustic line since its introduction in 1942. The J-45 Custom is a celebration of the original. Combining vintage appointments with several modern features, the J-45 Custom delivers the renowned tone of classic J-45s, while adding refined finishes that complement its fundamental design, including a new floral abalone and mother-of-pearl headstock inlay created by Gibson's master luthiers. Features: -Sitka spruce top with pattern-grade rosewood back and sides -Traditional Gibson logo and new headstock inlay design -Rosewood fingerboard with rolled edges and dot inlays -L.R. Baggs Element Active Acoustic Pickup System -Gold Grover™ Rotomatic tuners The top is Sitka Spruce, while the back and sides are Indian Rosewood. The binding is .080" Cream Top and Back Binding. It features a Herringbone Top Trim and Abalone Rosette. The neck is mahogany with a slim taper profile. The nut is bone and the width is 1.725". The headstock type is a traditional CF-100 with Mother of Pearl Gibson Peghead logo and Abalone Flowers. The tuning machines are Grover™ Rotomatics. The pre-amp is an L.R. Baggs Element. Feel free to message me with any questions you may have. Check out my feedback and buy with confidence! Thanks for looking! Last edited by VeritasAequitas; 02-08-2017 at 05:41 PM. |
