Default SOLD McAlister Concert 12-C

2005 McAlister Concert 12-C
Serial #C-187-12 Built March 2005

I am selling this guitar for a friend. The following is his description of this instrument and I agree with all that is said here....

A great sounding guitar for both fingerstyle and flat picked playing. I am the second owner.

The guitar is in very good shape and has minimal fret wear. The prior owner had two minor dings repaired. You'd have to really look in the right light to find the repairs. There are 2 very small blemishes on the back right corner of the headstock which are hidden from view while playing. The bridge had lifted very slightly when I got the guitar and I sent it to Hoffman Guitars who re-glued it, dressed the frets and set up the action so it plays great.
Apparently due to the cold during shipping, the top got some finish crazing when it was shipped back to me. It can only be seen if you look at the top in just the right angle and I’ve only seen it on the top and they are stable. The tone of the guitar is clear, not too bright as some mahogany guitars and has a nice midrange and bass. Very balanced.

Specs:
Back & Sides - Antique Honduran Mahogany
Top - German Spruce w/ beautiful silking and a golden toner
Nut Width 1-25/32"
String Spacing at Bridge 2-5/16"
Scale Length 25.4
Cutaway
Slothead w/Waverly's (3 on a plate with ivoroid knobs) small amount of play in the bass E tuner
Greenish Abalone Rosette
Herringbone Purfling
Ivoroid Body Binding which was 'antiqued" by Roy
Original Cedar Creek Case

Where are the repaired section(s) are located?

Also what are the dimensions of the body?

Sorry for the delay Johnny. I am not sure where the repaired dings are in the guitar. The repairs I know about are the ones referenced in the post made by Hoffman Guitars. There are some impressions in the treble side of the waist which can be seen in the photos. Where someone played the guitar with keys in their pocket maybe. Some people call these worm tracks. Here are the dimensions.

Upper bout: 11 3/4"
Lower bout: 15 3/8"
Depth at heel: 3 5/8"
Depth at end block: 4 1/2"
Body length: 20 1/4"

Thanks for your interest.

Default Very Nice!

I really like this guitar and would have likely gotten with you by now if my cash flow was working for me these days. That may change in the next week or two. We can only hope!

Measurements, yes thank you. This is a right-sized and shaped guitar IMHO. I was afraid it may be smaller, like OM-sized.

Is it as orange-yellow as it appears in the pictures? I kinda like it, but it is different. Close-by in WPB FL, so maybe things can work out for me soon.
