FS/FT - 2011 Taylor 714CE
I have a 2011 Taylor 714CE that I recently acquired for sale or for trade.
Here's the details on my Taylor: Taylor's 714ce acoustic-electric guitar is an excellent choice, if you're looking for a traditionally voiced and full-sounding instrument. With a 714ce, you get a bold tone with clearly defined notes and excellent projection, a perfect recipe for fingerpickers for many of the fingerpickers. Even unplugged, the 714ce gives you a surprising amount of natural projection, and thanks to its onboard Taylor Expression System electronics, it also sounds fantastic when you plug in. If your playing style is based on fingerpicking and light to medium strumming, you can't go wrong with the Taylor 714ce acoustic-electric guitar. Features: Grand Auditorium body style gives you dreadnought-like projection with a more expressive upper register Sitka spruce provides a bright and balanced tone Indian rosewood back and sides add clarity and projection Onboard Taylor Expression System electronics give you surprisingly natural plugged-in tone Hardshell case included Grand Auditorium body with Venetian Cutaway Gloss body finish All solid carved woods Sitka Spruce top Indian Rosewood back & sides Forward shifted bracing with Relief Rout Tropical American Mahogany 1-piece neck Ebony fretboard and bridge Ivoroid Heritage Diamonds position markers Ivoroid binding 20 frets 25.5" scale Chrome plated Taylor tuners Tusq Nut 1.75" nut width 16" lower bout 4.625" body depth Taylor Expression System Original hardshell Case There's a chance that the top is Engelmann Spruce. I'm not exactly certain. Most literature online that I've read says that it probably is Engelmann but the individual that I got it from indicated that it is sitka spruce. In regards to full disclosure, the guitar has 3 small marks on the top which I've tried to show in the link provided on Photobucket. Everything else checks out remarkably well and there are no other issues. Aside from the 3 small marks in the top, this guitar would be considered to be in pretty good to excellent condition as it just has a little bit of play on it at this time. The sound, feel, and action are good and sounds great. It's been properly cared for and humidified as well. Here's a link to some photos: http://s274.photobucket.com/user/pea...in=true&page=1 Asking price is $2100 including shipping and paypal fees. Open to trades and offers. In regards to trade offers, looking for high end acoustics or vintage electrics unique to my collection. In regards to specific acoustic guitars, for a long time I've been looking for a Larrivee with Seahorse Inlay, a Washburn Savannah, a Gibson Dove, Gibson SJ-200 Standard, Taylor GAce LTD Sapele, a walnut back and sides guitar like a Taylor W14, guitar with madagascar rosewood back and sides, and any older guitars that have been played along the likes of a Lowden, McIlroy, Santa Cruz, Bourgeois, Collings, and Huss and Dalton. |
