Yes. There was a little hum in the reverb, but the chassis was out of the cab. It went away once I installed it in the cab. I still intend to check it out with the oscilloscope I ordered just to groom it, but I'm tickled pink right now.

glad you have it resolved. you incoming tools and equipment will help with the next build. uh, what is the next build? ha! enjoy this one for a while.

Actually, I plan on spending a little with the scope on this one grooming it. It sounds good, but I want to be sure it's as good as it could be. I took it to rehearsal tonight to let everyone give it a try. It got rave reviews from all as a superb blues amp. I think the tremolo tube worked loose though, that part didn't want to play after I carried it around and put it in the car. Worked at home, of course.

Funny you ask, my bassist builds too and asked if I was interested in finishing his JTM45 for him. He's had that amp half finished for over a year now and just never has time to sit down with it. I accepted his offer. Should be another fun project. I'll pick it up next rehearsal and bring it home.

A JTM45 will be a fun amp to blast out a few power chords.

It's not always an easy hobby but when it delivers it really delivers.
