A top of the line F model from Irelands finest. I have owned an amazing number of Lowden guitars over the past 10 years. I hate to let this one go, but I am downsizing. If you haven't tried one of these new Lowden guitars, your in for a treat. George Lowden is no longer a production line factory, as starting in 2004, he opened a small shop , focusing on the utmost attention to detail and quality, and is putting out some amazing guitars. Look at the pics, the tone and playability of this guitar is as good as its looks. Check out the AAAAA koa back and sides on this baby. Stunning!!! It's very open and has breathtaking overtones that add a real lush character as the notes sustain and sustain. I woud describe the bass as clear as a bell which you would expect with koa but not thin at all. The mid range is very full which adds to the overall volume and the guitar is very powerful. The 50 series are basically one of a kind Lowdens, made under the direct supervision of George, himself
not cheap for sure but this one is killer Its basically the Custom Shop at George Lowden guitars. They reserve their finest woods and they are hand crafted by their best builders bob
