PSA: 2014 Collings AT-16. $11 500.00
How often do you find one of these for sale used?
http://www.crguitars.com/site/items/...-2014-like-new . Certainly an opportunity for someone. |

Sunburst no less. Not often. A guitar for a lifetime.

I think it was gone about 36 hours after this PSA was posted.

Never seen one advertised where the price was listed as sold.
An iconic design made by about the best possible maker. But ...would it make me a competent jazz player? Prolly not. |

Yup, they are pretty nice archtops.

I own a Collings OM-3 and a Collings MTO. What do I reach for most of the time, my Eastman 810 archtop. No doubt they are nice but do you really need to spend that much money? I got the OM quite cheap because the music store could move my ES-175 and had sat on the Collings for almost 2 years...they were thrilled to see it go out the door. Mandolin was a straight across trade for a Weber Yellowstone.

You have two Collings and you mention need? Time for some self examination, sir.
