Default NFL Week 11

Titans at Steelers tonight. Patriots visiting the Raiders.

Any big story lines this week?

Pats stayed in Colorado after the Denver game to stay/ better aclimate to the altitude .I guess Mexico city is 7300 ish feet above sea level. Beats traveling back to Boston then back to Mexico city.

Go Pats.

If I get one more victory or the Llama Lovers get one more loss, I am mathematically eliminated from my fantasy league Loser Bowl. I'm currently in first place, which is ironic because I'm the only one in our group that does not watch or follow the NFL. I just do what the app suggests.

Pats up 17 to 0 at halftime.

Gostowski just kicked a 62-yard field goal!

Brady had another great game. He could have had bigger numbers if they weren't ahead so much in the 2nd half.

Go Pats.

A friend of mine that’s a Raiders fan said that the reason they lost was because of the altitude. So I said the patriots must’ve cheated by playing at sea level while the raiders played at 7000+ feet. There was no answer. [emoji23]

Just another example of the Patriots 'leave no stone unturned' approach to game preparation. They practiced at altitude all week and were acclimated to the thinner air.

The Raiders failed to make this effort, showed up the day before the game, and paid the price for their lack of preparation.

This is how the Patriots win - they do what it takes to prepare themselves physically and mentally for each game. And they constantly look for advantages. Some people who are fans of the teams they beat like to think it's because the Pats "cheated", rather than because the Pats were better prepared and performed better.

Yep. In reality, the Patriots are less than perfect every single season. They get the craziest curveballs, season after season, they either lose key players, or have serious holes in their game. Last season we lost Gronk on the post season, still won the super bowl. This season we lost Edelman for the season, and they adjusted. Early this season our defense was ranked last, they are now ranked 16 or so. It’s how they adjust and adapt what makes the Patriots a super bowl contender every season.
