NUGD: Fender CD140SCE Acoustic Electric

Howdy folks.
Was keeping my eyes open for an acoustic electric and this one popped up pretty cheap along with a Roadrunner polyfoam case.

What's your opinion on this?
It's got Fishman electronics so decent when plugged in.
Acoustic also is pretty good.

My experience is meh with the Fender Acoustics. I really like the look of the ones with the Electric headstock lol.

However, the quality seems to vary quite a bit.

Our opinions don't matter much! If you like it and play it don't let us talk you out of it!

I have tried few other Fender laminates and they were not good for acoustic.
This one with solid top is much better but not as good as other acoustics I have.
I will be using it mostly plugged in.
This one gives both options in case I need.

Quick update.
This guitar is pretty good acoustically.
Has good sustain, resonance and nice mellow sound.
Not too bassy and not too bright.
In fact, it sounds and feels better than the Blueridge BR-63CE I had.

I had tried other Fender guitars, laminate ones and they sounded pretty dull with not much projection but this CD140SCE is much better.
That could be due to solid top plus scalloped bracing.

It's as good as a good sample of Yamaha FG700S (I had some dull and some nice FG700S), if not better.
FG700S is slightly louder but that could be due to different strings.
I think Fender produced it to compete against Yamaha FGX models as the size, depth is exactly same.
I had Yamaha FGX730SCA before but no longer have to compare.

I don't want to switch between acoustic and electric to learn scales in lower positions so this is exactly what I was looking for.

As you can see in my sig, I've got one - had it 6 or 7 years, picked it up used for $199 (no case) at GC. They were selling for $299 new at the time. I tried the new ones against Yammies and Epiphones in the same price range, and kept coming back to this one - instead of the slightly-higher priced Fender Kingsman (and other) models. I like the narrow thin neck, much like my Tele, although over time I've found that playing some songs on a narrow neck doesn't work as well for my fat fingers.
Plugged-in it sounds fine with a little EQ. I use it regularly with my band, and like it for fast lead guitar parts, as I have Light strings on it so can really do some good pulls and bends compared to the mediums on my Taylor dread.

I’ve played some Fender acoustics that were very nice. That one is not one of them so I don’t render opinion’s about guitar’s I haven’t played. You like and that’s all that matters.
